The earliest promise in the Bible was concerning the relationship between mankind and Satan. Despite having a sinful nature God promised that there would exist in us a hatred for evil and Satan. Also contained in this promise was how Jesus would come to destroy Satan and be the recipient of his animosity. Ultimately love wins and sin will be destroyed though!
