As the believers who waited for Jesus return in 1844 experienced bitter disappointment, they had to reevaluate their prophetic conclusions whilst maintaining their faith. These challenges at some point come to all of us in our individual walk. May we be encouraged though that we do have a sure and concrete word of prophecy that we can rely on.
